Day-to-day

Responsibilities Of This Position
  • Manage Core Agency Functions:
    Execute assigned operational responsibilities within the Board with a high degree of organization, which may include processing warrants, scheduling hearings, handling parole violations, managing termination requests, and/or coordinating restitution.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance:
    Maintain accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with agency standards and polices and state statue across all administrative processes, data entries, and records.
  • Demonstrate Operational Flexibility:
    Adapt smoothly to shifting priorities, proactively handling diverse assignments and cross-training as needed to support evolving agency demands.
  • Support Strategic Partnerships:
    Develop and maintain cooperative, professional relationships with state, local, and private agencies.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
    Work effectively and adaptively within a dynamic, team-oriented environment to support overall agency goals.
Tasks Program Evaluation & Data Analysis
  • Monitors and evaluates operations, programs, processes, and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyzes administrative information, reviews operational data, and verifies results to produce accurate summaries, report findings, and make data-driven recommendations.
Strategy, Rules, & Procedure Development
  • Develops or modifies rules, policies, or standards based on the evolving needs of the agency.
  • Develops and implements procedures in response to agency policy, state and federal laws, and regulatory updates.
Policy Interpretation & Guidance
  • Interprets, clarifies, explains, and applies agency policies, procedures, business practices, and federal or state laws and regulations to ensure compliance across all administrative functions.
  • Provides consultation, makes recommendations, gives appropriate advice, and/or facilitates decisions.
Support & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Provides technical assistance on agency issues, services, and specialized programs.
  • Interacts regularly with individuals outside of the agency, specifically external stakeholders, including partner agencies, victims, families of incarcerated individuals, and the general public.
Qualifications Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications
  • System Knowledge:
    Proven experience with criminal justice system standards, practices, and procedures.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Prior knowledge of, or familiarity with, specialized criminal justice software programs and databases.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Strong working experience in data research, verification, and analysis, with the ability to effectively utilize data.
