Senior Software Engineer; Full stack

We’re headquartered in Salt Lake City with customers like Indeed, Etsy, Dropbox, Twilio, Pfizer, and Vanguard.

We are looking for a product-minded engineer who can be proficient across our tech stack that includes Rails, Postgres, React, and Tailwind. You’ll design and deliver features with a high degree of independence, collaborating directly with customers on product discovery and support.

Our engineering team is extremely small, and we aim to keep it that way. This means that each person on our team carries significant weight and responsibility and must ship a lot. In return, we have great compensation, zero bureaucracy, little to no meetings, and the opportunity to immensely impact the business each day.

For this role, we’re looking for someone senior, ideally with 10+ years of overall experience and 5+ years of Ruby on Rails experience. You’ll be focused on building products that are used by tens of thousands of developers and engineering managers worldwide.

Our team is mostly based out of Salt Lake City, so candidates must have at least 5 hours of overlap with the Mountain Time zone. The compensation range for this role is $160,000 – $280,000 base salary, plus additional equity compensation.

You’re accustomed to carrying a lot of weight, e.g., being the first to jump on a bug, going the extra mile to get something done today vs tomorrow, or proactively helping with projects that aren’t your own. You want to work hard—you can consistently put in a full 40-hour week, with occasional spikes when needed.

You feel comfortable directly communicating with customers and writing tactful support emails.
