Senior Software Engineer; Backend

DX recently closed on its acquisition by Atlassian . By joining Atlassian, we will expand our resources, accelerate growth and R&D, and ultimately deliver greater impact to our customers.

We are looking for a backend engineer who can be proficient across our tech stack that includes Rails and Postgres. You’ll deliver features with a high degree of independence, collaborating directly with customers on product discovery and support.

Our engineering team is extremely small and we aim to keep it that way. This means that each person on our team carries significant weight and responsibility , and must ship a lot. In return, we have great compensation, zero bureaucracy, little to no meetings, and the opportunity to immensely impact the business each day.

Our team is mostly based out of Salt Lake City, so candidates must have at least 5-hours of overlap with Mountain Time zone. We also appreciate candidates who live in Utah or are interested in relocating (most of our team members are transplants).

• You’re accustomed to carrying a lot of weight, e.g., being the first to jump on a bug, going the extra mile to get something done today vs tomorrow, or proactively helping with projects that aren’t your own.
• You’re a generalist, with depth in certain areas like design, database optimization, front-end development, or infrastructure.
• You feel comfortable directly communicating with customers and writing tactful support emails.
• Base salary range of $160,000 – $280,000
