As an AI-native "Fiend" Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in building and scaling our platform's backend data infrastructure, frontend experiences, and AI-enhanced features. You'll design robust data pipelines, develop intuitive dashboards and tools for logistics visibility, integrate complex systems, and leverage modern AI coding tools to accelerate delivery. This is a high-impact position where your work directly empowers eCommerce brands and 3PLs to optimize operations, reduce costs, and scale confidently.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable AWS data pipelines using S3, Athena, Glue, and Lambda for processing logistics and billing data
- Develop responsive, high-performance frontend applications with React
- Build backend services and APIs with Node.js and Type Script
- Model and query complex datasets in Postgres
- Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments in cloud environments
- Rapidly prototype and iterate using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to move fast while maintaining quality
- Proven proficiency with AWS services, particularly data pipelines involving S3, Athena, Glue, and Lambdas
- Strong React frontend development skills (hooks, state management, performance optimization)
- Ability to include the words AI and fiend in your application
- Solid experience with Node.js, Type Script, and building production APIs/services
- Demonstrated ability to use AI coding assistants/tools to accelerate development without sacrificing quality
- Experience shipping production-grade, containerized applications with Docker
- Domain experience in eCommerce, shipping, logistics, or fulfillment/3PL software
- Familiarity with Python and agentic/AI systems using Lang Chain or similar frameworks
