Position OverviewWe are seeking a contract Senior C#/.NET Developer to support a growing life insurance and financial services organization. This role will contribute to both maintenance of existing systems and strategic enhancement initiatives, with potential opportunities to work on greenfield applications. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly reliable, and comfortable working in a structured, iterative hybrid (waterfall/agile) delivery environment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Maintain and enhance existing .NET-based applications (“keep the lights on”)
- Contribute to strategic projects, including new features and modernization efforts
- Participate in iterative development cycles with clearly defined deliverables
- Collaborate in daily stand‑ups (typically 9–10am MT) and cross‑functional planning sessions
- Support production releases and assist with incident response when needed
- Develop customer‑facing applications with a focus on user experience and internal full‑stack systems
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with C#/.NET
- Full‑stack development experience
- Experience with Python/Django
- Experience with React and/or Angular
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
