Responsibilities- Help solve interesting and challenging problems through the delivery of world‑class cloud‑based and on‑prem products within our rapidly growing industry.
- Working with our product organization to understand business objectives and help ensure our technical strategy can deliver the business objectives.
- Collaborating with technical leadership to define architecture strategy and design.
- Become an expert in how InComm Healthcare systems operate.
- Create prototypes of solutions that are sufficient to guide strategic decisions.
- Create prototypes and templates for the engineering teams to help build coherent engineering practices.
- Share implementation details of strategic solutions in writing and in person (i.e. group and one‑on‑one training).
- Participate in code and design reviews as you coach the development teams on the implementation of our technology strategy and best practices.
- 7+ years as a software engineer and 5+ years as a software architect working with the following technologies, languages, and architectures:
- C#, .NET Framework
- API development
- JavaScript, Type Script, jQuery, Web API, CSS, JSON and HTML
- Single Page Application development with Angular or React
- Building secure, scalable cloud solutions for Azure Cloud
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Microservice architecture
- Domain Driven Design
- SQL and No‑SQL databases
- BS in Computer Science or related field.
- Passion for technology, continually increasing knowledge of new technologies and best practices.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent knowledge of design and modeling methods.
- Strong familiarity with design patterns and principles.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles.
- Expert‑level debugging skills.
- Experience correcting performance bottlenecks and scaling a platform in a growing business.
- Willingness to dive into any challenge with a positive attitude; be a go‑to resource for team members who need help.
- Experience with agile development practices.
- Extensive unit and integration testing (Test‑Driven Development preferred).
