We re looking for someone who has been mainly focused on product engineering more than operational support, and the primary experience we re looking for is one or more of:
Product Testing
Basic QualificationsCurrently working within an enterprise-level storage environment
Experienced in Pure Storage Flash Array block storage products and/or in Rubrik r6000 series data protection products
Experienced in Brocade G series fabric switch products
Capability to follow and deliver Product Development Life Cycle type documentation as part of the product evaluation and certification process
Competent in Windows, Linux/UNIX-like operating systems, I/O and network stack tuning and performance profiling
An understanding how to deliver reliable services out of unreliable components
Familiar with Dev Ops tools and version control systems (SVN, Git Lab)
Familiar with SRE principles such as user journeys, SLI/SLO, and synthetic probers
Strong analytical, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills
Ability to adapt to new technologies
Preferred QualificationsExperience with engineering and operating a hybrid cloud delivery model with focus on data coherency between on-prem and off-prem components.
Proficiency with Power Shell, Python, Bash or other scripting languages with a focus on testing and sound SDLC practices.
Familiarity with hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, and Azure)
Familiarity with hypervisors (ESX)
Beneficial, but not required, experience in block storage (Dell, Hitachi), file (Netapp, Dell Unity), and/or backup solutions (Networker, Data Domain).
Familiarity with Elastic Search and Kibana
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.34/hour - $47.40/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
