You are a challenge‑driven individual who has experience across software development, applications, and infrastructure. You are excited by the opportunity to help build a world‑class Dev Ops driven solution. Your responsibilities at Pan Dimensional:

• Designing, automating, implementing and supporting infrastructure and processes around the delivery of our software in a continuous and secure manner, as a collaborative member of the team.
• Helping, as a member of the overall engineering team, to deliver software on time.
• Being a point‑expert on certain technologies, but also cross‑training other team members to back‑fill you when you are not available.
• Being a part of a team providing 24x7 availability in a rotation.
• Being cheerful and having fun.

• Demonstrate an ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
• Have an understanding of application stacks and how modern applications are structured, built and deployed using continuous delivery processes, with idiomatic container patterns.
• Are willing to help through the transition of a monolithic rails application onto ephemerial containers.
• Are comfortable with Linux infrastructure, databases and web technologies, including virtualization, Docker containers, and cloud providers.
• Are experienced with software development, programming, and scripting, but also like to be involved in how the platform and infrastructure are put together.
• Understand security concerns and authentication models.
• Love to automate everything.
• Know that in a startup sometimes we wear many hats.
• Think like an Architect, work as an Engineer and enjoy the problem‑solving challenges of Operations.
• Are capable of recognizing what you don’t know, and learn new things quickly.
• Are willing to stand for and explain what you believe in, and you are okay even if it is not what is used.

• Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, or other styles)
• AWS, EC2, VPC, S3 and other services.
• Linux systems (Redhat/CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Alpine, etc)
• Databases (MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch)
• Scripting & Programming (ruby, python, elixir, java script/node.js, etc)
• Automation/Orchestration Systems (chef, salt, ansible, puppet, etc)
