Role Overview:
You will lead a team of software engineers and QA professionals delivering secure, scalable applications supporting critical business capabilities. This hands-on leadership role involves coaching your team, improving delivery predictability, and partnering closely with product, architecture, and Dev Ops teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers and QA professionals
- Partner with product and architecture to shape solution designs that are scalable, secure, and reliable
- Drive execution across multiple initiatives, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and team capacity
- Raise the bar on engineering practices across code quality, testing, security, and operational reliability
- Promote automation and the thoughtful use of AI-assisted development tools to enhance speed and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical delivery with business priorities
Required Qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of software engineering experience
- 3-5+ years of engineering leadership / people management experience
- Proven success delivering across multiple concurrent projects and timelines
- Strong coaching, performance management, and team-building capability
- Solid technical background with experience contributing to architecture and key engineering decisions
- Experience with cloud-native architecture and modern SDLC practices
