Mission

Sky Share is seeking an experienced Captain with a minimum of 2,800 hours total time to support a managed Part 91 Citation CJ based in SLC, UT. Candidates should have recent single-pilot jet experience. You'll initially fly a Citation CJ, with plans to transition to a CJ2+ or CJ3. All aircraft assigned to this position are certified for single-pilot operations. You may also have opportunities to support a Henderson (HND)-based Phenom 300.

Working directly with the owner, you'll ensure every trip is safe, efficient, and delivered with exceptional service. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a pilot seeking stability and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications
  • Must have recent single‑pilot jet experience.
  • Minimum 2,800 hours total flight time, including:
    • 250 hours as PIC
    • 500 hours of multi‑engine
    • 300 hours of jet
    • 200 hours of instrument
  • FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate category and class.
  • Valid FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • FAA Instrument Rating.
  • Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license.
  • Current IFR knowledge and experience.
  • Garmin 1000/3000 preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Job Requirements
  • Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, checklists, and best practices.
  • Perform flight duties for up to 14 hours per day during trips for as many as 8 consecutive days, often crossing multiple time zones and navigating drastically different weather conditions.

Schedule

This is a dedicated aircraft position supporting a private owner. The schedule is based on the owner's travel needs and will be fluid, with 8 hard days off per month. The owner is known for respecting pilots' family time and providing one of the industry's best work‑life balances. At times, your schedule will include days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. You will also be available for overnight trips, spending several days and nights away from home in hotels.
