Courtesy Shuttle Driver - Afternoon & Evening

Job Description

The Courtesy Shuttle Driver drives company vehicles to transport customers in the local area. He or she provides shuttle service for customers needing transportation to and from work or home and will arrange schedules for that purpose. The Driver assists any customers in need of aid entering or exiting the vehicle and with any luggage. In addition he or she maintains the cleanliness of the vehicles.

Most importantly and without exception, the Driver operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times.

The ideal candidate has an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record. Candidates must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles. Strong communication and customer service skills are required.

• Transports customers in assigned vehicles within the local area
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks
• Obeys posted speed limits at all times and all other rules of the road
• Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
• Assists with vehicle parking
• Performs other duties as required by management

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
• Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
• Highly professional and dependable
• Safety and customer service oriented
