is seeking a dependable and safety-focused
Local Driver
to join our team. The Local Driver is responsible for safely transporting freight between designated locations while providing reliable service to our customers.

This position is ideal for an experienced Class A CDL driver who takes pride in safe driving, maintaining equipment, accurate documentation, and professional customer service.

• Safely transport freight between designated locations.
• Perform required
  pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
• Plan routes to ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Properly secure freight before and during transportation.
• Obtain customer signatures and complete required delivery documentation.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, including driving hours, rest periods, mileage, fuel, repairs, and tolls.
• Complete required DOT and customer-specific paperwork.
• Maintain the company vehicle, including cleaning, checking fluids, monitoring tire pressure, and performing minor repairs as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight.
• Immediately report accidents, traffic violations, vehicle breakdowns, or freight damage to management.
• Notify dispatch and customers of delays that could affect scheduled delivery times.
• Follow all applicable
  DOT regulations and road safety requirements
  .
• Participate in required company training programs.

• Valid
  Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Minimum2 years of tractor/trailer driving experience
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Strong understanding of road safety practices
• Ability to use GPS and road maps
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to safely get in and out of tractors and trailers
• Ability to sit for approximately 2-4 hours at a time
• Ability to perform light lifting of
  less than 20 pounds

• High school diploma or GED
