We are seeking a Warehouse Manager for our First Quality Home Care Products, LLC located in Salt Lake City, UT. This position will be responsible for overseeing plant‑level materials planning, production scheduling, inventory control, and finished goods deployment to ensure alignment between production, supply chain, and distribution.
Responsibilities- Establish operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping the warehouse inventory current.
- Collaborate with department managers to coordinate warehouse activities with production, customer service, production planning, quality assurance, and purchasing.
- Supervise warehouse activities and stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity during all shifts.
- Hire and release warehouse personnel as required to maintain an efficient warehouse and shipping operation.
- Manage employee relations, personnel training programs, discipline, and appraisals; maintain payroll and absenteeism reports.
- Generate warehouse productivity reports, account for all labor hours, and adhere to budget requirements while working toward goals and objectives.
- Perform internal and external warehouse audits to ensure proper inventory controls and regulatory compliance.
- Direct all finished goods, raw materials, salvage, and disposition of damaged or rework material.
- Coordinate all truck driver flow in and out of the facility.
- Recommend equipment replacements and preventative maintenance programs; suggest material handling and technology upgrades.
- Ensure security of the building and its contents.
- Effectively manage the WMS to ensure process compliance and accurate material consumption.
- Observe all safety rules and use proper safety equipment at all times; follow GMP and ISO regulations.
- Perform other duties as necessary when directed.
70% warehouse floor and 30% office. Frequent interaction with associates and cross‑functional teams. Schedule flexibility may be required based on project needs.
Qualifications- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field or 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory position.
- Five to ten years of experience in warehouse operations.
- Experience with SAP EWM preferred.
