Forklift Operator 3rd Shift - 8 hr Job Salt Lake City area,Utah USA,Warehouse

BASIC PURPOSE & SCOPE

Organizes finished product and raw materials in the freezer and warehouse areas. Picks customer orders. Maintains computerized inventory of all items. Ability to operate various forklifts. Coordinates shipments of warehouse goods with the Team Leader.

This is a 3rd shift position working 10:00pm - 6:30am, Monday - Friday, some OT as required. Shift differential of $1.50 per hour plus hourly wage of $24.88.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Plans and organizes the storage of finished product and raw materials in the freezer and warehouse areas.

2. Picks warehouse goods for the production floor, and helps prepare orders for shipments.

3. Operates electric forklift to move products and materials into and out of the production area and warehouse.

4. Assists with the loading of trucks/trailers.

5. Conducts computerized inventory; reconciles finished goods and raw materials with inventory records.

6. Works with the Team Leader to coordinate shipping and receiving of products and materials.

7. Assists with on-going sanitation of the warehouse work areas.

8. Will rotate through shipping and line supply on the pay for skill system.

9. Monitors their own breaks and lunches.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE

1. Must be 18 years of age.

2. Must have good communication skills in English.

3. Requires math skills.

4. Experience with computer and related programs.

5. Previous food manufacturing and forklift experience preferred.
