Warehouse Supervisor or Lead - Parts & Accessories Position Summary

CoWorx Staffing Services is looking for strong warehouse supervisors or team leads for our warehouse located in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a first shift position with opportunity to grow. The Warehouse Supervisor or Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Parts & Accessories warehouse while leading a team to ensure safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, and exceptional customer service.

This position serves as the primary point of contact for warehouse associates, providing coaching, training, and operational support to meet daily production goals and customer expectations.

Leadership
  • Lead, motivate, and support warehouse associates during daily operations.
  • Assign work based on business priorities and staffing levels.
  • Train new employees on warehouse processes, safety procedures, and company standards.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for operational questions and employee concerns.
Warehouse Operations
  • Coordinate receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory activities.
  • Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
  • Monitor workflow and adjust priorities to meet production deadlines.
  • Assist with unloading and loading freight as needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse operations using 5S principles.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of parts and accessories.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs.
Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Conduct daily safety observations and encourage safe work practices.
  • Report accidents, near misses, and safety concerns immediately.
  • Ensure all equipment inspections are completed and documented.
  • Promote a culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.
Quality
  • Verify order accuracy before shipment.
  • Ensure products are handled properly to prevent damage.
  • Monitor quality standards throughout warehouse operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce errors.
Administrative Duties
  • Complete daily production reports and operational documentation.
  • Monitor attendance, productivity, and labor utilization.
  • Communicate operational updates with warehouse management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-4 years of warehouse experience.
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a parts, automotive, manufacturing, or distribution warehouse preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
