Interwest Transportation is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Salt Lake City. We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded individual with 1–2 years of warehouse experience who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, stand‑up lifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment while safely receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping freight. What You'll DoAs a Warehouse Associate, you'll help ensure products are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and safely.
Responsibilities include:
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming freight
- Pick and stage customer orders accurately
- Pack and prepare shipments for delivery
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse SOPs
- Assist with cycle counts and other warehouse projects as assigned
- 1-2 years warehouse experience
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
