Warehouse Associate

SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Crew Member is a vital member of our warehouse team, playing a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of wholesale packaging supplies. This position requires a commitment to safety, organization, and a strong work ethic to contribute to our company's on-time delivery goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiving and Unloading:
  • Assist with unloading incoming deliveries of product from trucks and trailers.
  • Verify the accuracy and quantity of received items against packing slips.
  • Report any discrepancies or damages to warehouse supervisors promptly and notate any discrepancies or damages on the BOL.
• Inventory Management:
  • Unpack and inspect incoming inventory for any damage or quality issues.
  • Organize and store inventory efficiently in designated locations according to company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or manual processes.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts to ensure record accuracy.
• Order Fulfillment:
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently according to picking tickets.
  • Stage and prepare picked orders for shipment.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Shipping and Loading:
  • Load outgoing shipments onto trucks and trailers following proper loading procedures to ensure safe transport.
  • Secure shipments to prevent damage during transit.
  • Prepare and attach necessary shipping documentation.
• Warehouse Maintenance:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company safety protocols.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
  • Assist with keeping warehouse aisles and work areas clear of obstructions.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The position requires qualified individuals to see, hear, and speak (verbally and audibly). The employee is also required to lift, sit, and stand. The employee must have digital literacy skills to type and input data.

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Must be able to function effectively in a loud, fast-paced working environment
• Must report to work unimpaired

• Must be in the office Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
