Major Drilling, one of the world's largest and most successful drilling companies, is seeking a

Warehouse Associate to join our Salt Lake City team. This full-time position plays a critical role in supporting drilling operations by receiving, organizing, tracking, preparing, and distributing inventory, equipment, tools, and materials.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position requires both administrative accuracy and hands-on inventory management, including material handling, shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization.

• Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming inventory, supplies, and equipment.
• Organize, stock, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, stage, package, and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for shipment to field operations.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using company systems and handheld devices.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and freight shipments.
• Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

• Reconcile work orders, inventory requests, invoices, and shipping documentation.
• Verify materials pulled for orders match supporting documentation.
• Prepare shipping labels and shipment documentation accurately.
• Record shipment information, including destination, work order numbers, and tracking details.
• Review orders for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before materials are shipped.
• Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments regarding shipments and deliveries.

• Perform data entry for received and shipped inventory.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records related to warehouse operations.
• File and retain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Utilize PCs, warehouse management systems, handheld scanners, and other technology to support inventory activities.

• Follow all company safety policies and safe material-handling procedures.
• Support warehouse organization initiatives, including Lean and 5S principles.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely (certification preferred).
• Participate in warehouse improvement projects and process enhancements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or logistics experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control practices.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and data entry proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Frequently stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally lift materials weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance or appropriate equipment.
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb ladders or warehouse shelving.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements associated with inventory handling and computer use.
• Ability to visually inspect inventory, shipping documents, labels, and warehouse materials.

• Work is performed primarily in a warehouse setting with frequent exposure to moving equipment, machinery, and material-handling operations.
• Position requires work both indoors and outdoors depending on shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and yard activities.
• May be exposed to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and weather conditions.
• Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
