Location:
Salt Lake City, UT Compensation: $19–$25 per hour
Schedule:
7:00am–3:30pm, Day ShiftA day in this role7:00am — You clock in and open the day’s queue of outgoing parcels. You map out priorities, stage cartons, and confirm addresses so everything leaves on time.
8:15am — Packages are measured, weighed, and secured. You generate labels through UPS and Fed Ex software, double-checking each detail so every shipment is correct the first time.
10:30am — You keep the flow steady, sequencing pickups and grouping similar orders for efficiency. When questions arise, you coordinate with the Finishing/Assembly Manager to align final packaging needs.
1:00pm — You review the afternoon queue, print labels, and seal the last wave of parcels. No forklifts, freight/LTL, inventory work, order picking, or receiving—your focus is purely outbound small parcels.
3:15pm — You confirm the day’s shipments are ready for carrier pickup and tidy the station for a smooth start tomorrow.
What you’ll handle
Package products for safe, professional small-parcel delivery.
Create and process shipments using UPS and Fed Ex carrier software.
Organize and prioritize a daily slate of outgoing parcels to maintain steady throughput.
Collaborate with and learn additional duties from the Finishing/Assembly Manager as needed.

Excellent organization and the ability to plan and reprioritize throughout the day.
Meticulous attention to detail in packaging and label creation.
Comfort with basic computer tasks and shipping applications.
Openness to learning and consistently following established procedures.
Reliability to work the 7:00am–3:30pm schedule.
Training for role-specific tasks is provided by the Finishing/Assembly Manager.
Scope clarification
This position is dedicated to outbound small-parcel shipping. It does not include freight or LTL shipping, forklift operation, picking from stock, inventory management, or receiving.
