Public Services Assistant Floater
King County Library System (KCLS) is seeking a motivated and skilled Public Services Assistant Floater to provide service in the Cascade Region of the King County Library System. The Cascade Region includes the following libraries:
Fall City, Snoqualmie, Sammamish, Redmond, Redmond Ridge, North Bend. The Public Services Assistant (PSA) Floater assists patrons with information about library materials, equipment, programs, and services in order to help them succeed through ideas, interaction and information.
As a PSA Floater, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide assistance to patrons in person, online, and over the phone
- Perform material circulation duties
- Assist patrons in using computers, printers, and other library technology
- Model and champion intellectual freedom
- Collaborate with other staff on variety of tasks, such as committees and projects

Schedule:
Sunday: 10:15am-6:15pm
Monday: 9:15am-6:15pm
Tuesday: 11:15am-7:15pm
Wednesday: 12:15pm-8:15pm
Thursday: 11:15am-6:15pm
This is a floater position based in the Sammamish Library, but will serve all Cascade region libraries as needed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs. Required Application Material:
