1:1 School LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse (25/26 School Year)

Location: Sammamish, WA

Contract: Through the 25/26 school year

Schedule: 22.5–30 hours per week (follows school district calendar)

Setting: High School openings

Pay: Weekly: $990‑$1,080; direct deposit

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care during school hours and transportation times
• Monitor and manage ventilator and tracheostomy equipment, including suctioning and emergency interventions
• Administer medications, tube feedings, and other ordered treatments
• Document daily nursing notes and maintain accurate health records
• Collaborate with school staff, family, and healthcare providers as needed
• Implement and follow the student’s Individualized Health Plan (IHP)
• Ensure a safe and clean environment on the bus and in the classroom
• Respond quickly and appropriately to medical emergencies
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Active Washington state or compact LPN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric, home care, or school-based nursing
• Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience required
• Ability to ride and supervise on the school bus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Certification: CPR/BLS
• Physical ability to meet job demands (standing, sitting, lifting up to 40 lbs)
