Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist customers, providing expert advice on home improvement products and services.
Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including stocking and replenishing merchandise.
Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle returns/exchanges with professionalism.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational and sales goals.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, labeling, and organizing products.
Stay informed on product knowledge, promotions, and seasonal trends to guide customer decisions.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation and problem‑solving ability.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems.
Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently when needed.
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail, sales, or related fields is a plus.
Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales preferred.
Experience handling cash transactions and inventory management is advantageous.
Full‑time role; flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, and occasional overtime during peak seasons.
Knowledge of home improvement products and tools is beneficial.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer‑first mindset.
Physical ability to lift and move merchandise as required (up to 50 lbs).
