Job Summary

Home Depot, a leading home improvement retailer, is seeking a highly motivated Customer Service & Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to customers, assist with product selection, and ensure a seamless shopping experience both in-store and online. Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers, providing expert advice on home improvement products and services.

  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including stocking and replenishing merchandise.

  • Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle returns/exchanges with professionalism.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational and sales goals.

  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, labeling, and organizing products.

  • Stay informed on product knowledge, promotions, and seasonal trends to guide customer decisions.

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong customer service orientation and problem‑solving ability.

  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently when needed.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail, sales, or related fields is a plus.

Experience
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales preferred.

  • Experience handling cash transactions and inventory management is advantageous.

Working Hours
  • Full‑time role; flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.

  • Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, and occasional overtime during peak seasons.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of home improvement products and tools is beneficial.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer‑first mindset.

  • Physical ability to lift and move merchandise as required (up to 50 lbs).
