Bakery Clerk​/Barista

THE ROLE

Team members within our Bakery/Coffee Shop Department are knowledgeable, food-loving individuals who take pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience. They actively engage with guests, share product knowledge, and ensure our wonderful self-serve displays are clean and well-stocked. Our fast-paced environment requires team members to successfully prioritize between routine tasks (such as product preparation, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining visually compelling displays) and immediate guest needs.

We seek individuals who are dependable, team-oriented, and motivated to uphold our high-quality standards while contributing to a welcoming, service-driven environment.

• Provide outstanding customer service by tailoring your approach to meet guests' needs and building rapport through individualized service.
• Prepare handcrafted coffee and tea beverages with consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently while engaging guests in a friendly, service-driven manner.
• Stock and replenish products, ensuring proper rotation and quality standards.
• Ensure outdated items are removed from the sales floor daily.
• Assist guests with bakery purchases, including serving from the cake case and answering product questions.
• Bake, package, label, and merchandise products for the sales floor in alignment with quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and food-safe workspace while consistently upholding food safety standards.
• Actively participate in product promotions and focus.
• Assist the Bakery Leadership Team with product and supply ordering as needed.
• Participate in monthly inventory to support accurate product counts and organization.

• One year of bakery and/or barista experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• A high level of self-motivation and initiative.
• Ability to problem solve and have proven success working in a diverse team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Curiosity and a desire to learn.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based upon business needs, including nights and weekends
