Responsibilities
- Assists with the management of the student conduct process, to include adjudicating low level student conduct and academic cases;
- Assists with the Jeanne Clery Act, sending correspondence to local law enforcement agencies seeking crime data, communicate with Campus Security Authorities, possess a general knowledge about the Jeanne Clery Act to assist with general questions;
- Possess excellent communication, organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills; must be professional, self-motivated, dependable, and effectively work with teams; will be cross-trained with other departmental units;
- Assists with departmental events/programs, including greeting families and prospective/new students during recruitment and retention programs, etc;
- Assists with the creation of promotional materials; routinely reviews and updates social media sites with current information;
- Knowledge of clerical and general office procedures and practices; knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation; knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications and software;
- Greets and assists students, faculty, staff, and other visitors; answers the telephone addressing callers in a professional, service-oriented manner; correctly and accurately routes calls; takes messages and/or schedules appointments, as necessary;
- Ability to organize and complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner; ability to perform work requiring accuracy and attention to detail; ability to operate a variety of office equipment;
- Serves as a secondary contact person for callers and visitors to the Administrative Office/Department;
- Copies, files, and scans documents in accordance with office procedures;
- Completes data entry using a variety of applications and software;
- Uses the university database to maintain departmental records in an accurate and timely manner; ensures adherence to records confidentiality and documenting procedures; generates reports as needed; proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge;
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Regular admission into an ASU graduate degree or certification program is required.

- Enrolled in Student Development and Leadership in higher Education M.Ed.
Salary $14.50/hr
