Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Clerical
Provides administrative and operational assistance for the Norris-Vincent College of Business. Coordinates a variety of departmental functions related to academic operations, records management, financial processes, and student services.
This is a part-time, benefits-eligible position.
- Processes degree plan modifications and maintains related records, curriculum updates, document retention activities, and enrollment reporting.
- Enters purchase requisitions into University systems, reconciles financial accounts, and tracks college expenditures using Banner, Excel, and other applicable systems.
- Assists the Academic Administrative Assistant with semester graduation checkout activities, annual banquets, commencement ceremonies, and other special events.
- Trains and provides guidance to student assistants in the performance of assigned duties.
- Provides customer service and administrative support by greeting students, faculty, staff, and visitors; answering and directing telephone calls; scheduling appointments; assisting with front office operations as needed; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities
- General office, clerical, and administrative procedures and practices.
- Proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Microsoft Office applications and related software.
- Operating computers, software applications, and standard office equipment.
- Oral, written, and interpersonal communication.
- Organize and prioritize work while meeting deadlines.
- Perform work requiring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- High School diploma or GED certificate.
- Two years clerical or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Banner software system.
- Experience with Angelo State University administrative processes.
Sitting, standing, manual dexterity fine manipulation or grasping. talking, hearing.
