The Student Project/Content Assistant supports the AI Center of Excellence (AI COE) and Kay Bailey Hutchison Institute (KBHI) Director by aiding with project management, outreach, and engagement efforts. Key responsibilities include attending and documenting various ASU events on behalf of AI COE/KBHI, creating and posting social media content, and monitoring/logging social media engagement.
Responsibilities- Creating graphic content for social media (Linked In, Facebook) that adheres to ASU Brand guidelines
- Composing written content for social media and other platforms.
- Tracking and updating project management software
- Providing support for ad-hoc projects or requests
- Tracking and managing project requests
Standard operating hours for this position are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Student Project/Content Assistants are expected to schedule their work hours within this period around their class schedule. Occasional opportunities or requests to assist with events outside standard operating hours and/or weekends may occur.
Required Qualifications- Must be a currently enrolled student, registered for classes, and in good academic standing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Dependable, professional, and willing to learn.
- Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions, ask questions when needed, and take initiative in solving problems.
Experience or familiarity with any of the following is helpful but not required:
- Project management tools
- Reels/Stories
- You Tube
- Photography
- Videography
- Illustrator
- Figma or similar
