Laboratory Operations Manager

X4 Engineering are working with a global analytical testing organization looking for a Laboratory Operations Managerat their lab in San Angelo, TX.

This role will be fully on-site position - significant relocation assistance is on offer for the successful candidate, should they require it.

• Lead daily lab operations and personnel, including performance against KPIs and financial goals
• Oversee the interviewing, evalutation, and eventual hiring of new lab personnel
• Enforce all QMS documentation including the Quality Manual, SOPs, and applicable test methods

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business-related discipline
• 5+ years' experience of supervisory experience in a laboratory environment
• Expertise with PCR, ELISA, and cultural confirmation of foodborne pathogens including Salmonella, Listeria, and
  
  E. coli O157:
  
  H7
