At Glen Meadows Baptist Church, worship isn’t just a part of what we do, it’s at the heart of who we are. We are prayerfully seeking a Worship Minister who will help us continue cultivating a culture of Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship that draws our people closer to God and equips them to live on mission.

We’re looking for a leader who embodies Wisdom, Stewardship, Excellence, and Communication, a true team player who thrives in a high-trust, high-accountability culture. Our staff is deeply unified, and we believe ministry happens best when we lead together in humility, honesty, and joy.

The ideal candidate will be someone with a deep commitment to prayer, discipleship, and the development of leaders, someone who not only leads worship with excellence but also multiplies worshipers throughout the church and beyond.

You must have the ability to lead across multiple styles of worship with authenticity and skill. Glen Meadows offers three Sunday services: one is a traditional country (Texas swing) style service, and the other two feature modern worship. We’re looking for a leader who can embrace and lead both with equal passion and excellence, uniting the church under one heart of worship.

The Worship Minister will be responsible for leading our congregation in transformative worship experiences, shepherding a team of musicians, vocalists, and technicians, and developing leaders who serve with excellence and humility. This role includes oversight of the Production Director and collaboration with ministry leaders for youth and children’s worship environments.

From that foundation, you will help cultivate a culture where worship is not performance, but participation; not production, but presence. You’ll help us build teams that reflect our worship team values:

• A deep and growing love for Jesus, and a clear calling to lead His people in worship.
• 3–5 years of experience leading worship in a church setting (experience in a 500+ attendance church preferred but not required).
• Demonstrated ability to lead both modern and traditional/country-style worship.
• Strong musical ability (vocal and instrumental) and proficiency in worship technology (Planning Center, Pro Presenter, Multi Tracks, audio/video systems).
• A proven ability to recruit, train, and develop musicians, vocalists, and production team members.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A humble, team-oriented spirit that thrives in collaboration.
• Willingness to affirm the Baptist Faith & Message (2000).
• Formal theological or musical training is helpful but not required.
