- Conducts tire performance tests and analyzes data to deliver reports that drive product development.
- Communicates technical results clearly and partners with engineers to guide next‑step decisions.
- Supports innovation through engineering projects, equipment improvements, and capital initiatives.
- Contributes to advanced testing growth (e.g., simulators) and supports racing events and related content.
- Execute scheduled tire performance tests (dry/wet stops, straight aquaplaning, Ride & Handling) including full preparation of vehicles, instrumentation, tire setups, and test conditions.
- Deliver timely, high‑quality test outputs by completing tests as scheduled and issuing accurate test reports within one day of execution.
- Ensure safety and process compliance by following all safety procedures, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting track monitoring and quality initiatives.
- Maintain test environment and documentation through updates to performance databases and development of procedures, work instructions, OBTs, and JRAs.
- Communicate technical findings by reporting tire behavior, test issues, and process observations to supervisors and requestors.
- Support cross‑functional and special projects such as PPI initiatives, remote testing coordination, expanding test capabilities, and preparation for events or operational activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Two or more years of progressive experience in mechanical or automotive engineering, with a focus on vehicle dynamics and control systems.
- Practical experience in signal processing, advanced instrumentation, and senior‑level installation or technical implementation.
- Performance or Professional driving experience is preferred.
