We are seeking a Laundry Worker to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As a Laundry Worker, you will play an important role in all phases of laundry services that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. • Pick up laundry from various floors three to four times daily during shift.
• Pick up dirty laundry from Sagecrest and Green Houses as scheduled.
• Sort all dirty laundry by kind in accordance with established procedures.
• Weigh and load each washing machine appropriately in accordance with established procedures.
• Program each machine and record on laundry forms the required information.
• Timely deliver personal clothes and laundry to the High Rise, Sagecrest and the Green Houses.

• High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) preferred.
• Requires knowledge of procedures required to operate the Laundry in a clean, safe and sanitary manner. Requires knowledge of and ability to comply with established sanitation procedures.
• Requires ability to follow infection control practices that may vary to include universal precautions as well as isolation procedures.
• Requires proficient ability to read, write, and understand business documents which are written in English. Requires ability to understand verbal English and speak English.
• Requires ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors and co-workers. Requires ability to make self clearly understood by others.
