Job Details:

• Work in Emergency Department at Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Big Spring, TX

• 36 or 48 hours per week available

• Must start on 3/23 (may consider 3/30 pending facility approval)

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends

• May be required to float to other ED

• Care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Work in 27-room emergency department with daily census of 150

• Previous travel experience required

• Minimum 2+ years of experience required

• Must be graduate of accredited nursing program

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC

• Epic charting system experience preferred

• Skills required include triage, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, 12 lead EKG/ECG, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, IV management, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation

• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary

• Texas nursing license required in-hand with submission

• Local radius of 110 miles (local candidates not accepted)
