Job Details:

• 36 or 48 hours per week available

• 4:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Daily census of 150 patients in 27-room emergency department

• May be required to float to other emergency departments

• Must have graduation from an accredited nursing program

• 2+ years of nursing experience required

• Previous travel experience highly preferred

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, CPI, NIHSS, NRP, SAFE

• Skills include triage, general emergency department care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, 12-lead EKG, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, IV management, emergency medications, vasopressors, and procedural sedation

• Epic charting system experience preferred

• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary

• Texas nursing license required in-hand with submission

• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
