Job Details:

• Work 36 or 48 hours per week in emergency department setting

• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends

• May be required to float to other emergency departments within the facility

• Handle daily census of approximately 150 patients across 27 emergency department rooms

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Previous travel experience required

• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience required

• Must be graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, CPI, NIHSS, NRP

• Epic charting system experience preferred

• Skills include triage, emergency medication administration, IV management, phlebotomy, central line care, blood product administration, 12-lead EKG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, and procedural sedation monitoring

• Work with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and unit secretaries

• Must start on 3/30
