Role Overview

As an occupational therapist (OT), you will serve as the key connection between personalized one-on-one patient care and their recovery progress. You will provide treatment, evaluate patient needs, and develop care plans to help patients regain independence after conditions such as stroke, neurological disorders, or joint replacements. You will supervise occupational therapist assistants and technicians, ensuring compliance with regulations and professional guidelines.

• Deliver occupational therapy treatments tailored to individual patient goals
• Delegate tasks and supervise support staff
• Communicate effectively with hospital departments, patients, families, and caregivers
• Use current technologies to support patient progress
• Maintain open communication to meet patient and hospital needs

• Current state licensure or certification required
• Effective communication skills
• Demonstrated competency in evaluation, assessment, and treatment planning
• CPR certification preferred
• Degree from an accredited therapy program or equivalent
