Assistant Director – Clinic

Role Overview: This position provides administrative leadership to various imaging departments, including Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, and Mammography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishes work schedules, staffing, policies, and procedures; recruits, trains, and evaluates personnel; maintains personnel records; manages supplies within budget.
• Ensures proper procedure completion, patient comfort, privacy, and accurate billing; verifies patient identity and procedure details; captures and sends images for interpretation; ensures correct diagnosis entry.
• Maintains attendance, demonstrates reliability, and adapts to workload changes; participates in meetings, maintains competencies, and expands procedural knowledge.
• Collaborates effectively with team members, physicians, and patients; fosters positive communication and attitude.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED; graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology school.
• Minimum five years of Diagnostic Radiology experience, with three years in supervisory roles.
• Certification/Licensure: BLS, MRT license from Texas, ARRT Certification in Radiography.
• Proficiency in scheduling, patient verification, and billing systems; strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills.
