Travel Ultrasound Technologist​/Sonographer - Sonography​/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with general, OB, and vascular ultrasound experience for a general radiology/cardiology position.

• Minimum of 1 year experience required, with General and Vascular ultrasound experience required and OB experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or ultrasound technologist program required
• ARDMS certification required; ARDMS AB and ARDMS RVT preferred
• License required if applicable
• Travel experience strongly preferred

• General, OB, and Vascular ultrasound unit
• Day shift, 4x10 hours, Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• No call required
• Holiday coverage required if shift falls on a holiday
• May float to South campus
• Patient population includes adult, ICU, NICU, obstetrics, and pediatrics
• Procedures include OB/GYN (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), vascular studies (aorta, arterial mapping, carotid, Doppler, duplex, stents), and general ultrasound (appendix, gallbladder, pancreas)
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Perform general, OB, and vascular ultrasound studies across adult, ICU, NICU, obstetric, and pediatric populations
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid substances that could affect drug screen results, including CBD products, prior to and after arrival onsite
• Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted
• Preferred assignment length is 26 weeks, with a minimum of 13 weeks considered
