Licensed Vocational Nurse; PACT-Education Debt Reduction Program

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical/License Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) position is to provide high-quality healthcare and exceptional customer service while maintaining an environment dedicated to serving veterans. The LPN/LVN functions under the guidance of the Nurse Manager or designee and must exhibit basic technical competence and skill. This LVN/LVN is expected to fully meet all key elements and operate as a proficient and self-directed professional in delivering complex practical nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with physical and/or behavioral problems, with minimal supervision.
