The Med/Surg Night Shift Clinical Manager is responsible for supporting the Nurse Director in the safe and effective provision of care for the Medical/Surgical unit. Maintain both management and clinical nurse roles in the department. Serve as director in director’s absence.
Required EducationGraduation from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN.
Required SkillsLeadership, organization, fiscal stewardship. Knowledge of critical care practices. Act as a mentor, coach and develop others, act as a role model. Attentive to details.
Required ExperienceTwo years of shift leader/charge nurse experience in the med/surg area or equivalent.
Preferred Experience5 years of shift leader/charge nurse experience in med/surg.
