Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Big Spring, TX, requiring previous travel experience and a valid TX or compact RN license.

• Emergency Department (ED) setting at a hospital in Big Spring, TX
• Day shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Floating to other ED units may be required
• 13-week contract
• Position is located in Big Spring, TX — not San Angelo, TX
• Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any products (including CBD) that could cause a positive result prior to and upon arrival
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program required
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
