What You Will Do

The Med/Surg Night Shift Clinical Manager is responsible for supporting the Nurse Director in the safe and effective provision of care for the Medical/Surgical unit, maintaining both management and clinical nurse roles in the department, and serving as director in the director’s absence.

Required Education

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN.

  • Knowledge of critical care practices.
  • Act as a mentor, coach and develop others, and act as a role model.
  • Attentive to details.
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification

Required Experience

Two years of shift leader/charge nurse experience in the med/surg area or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

5 years of shift leader/charge nurse experience in med/surg.
