Full time OB Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to obstetric patients across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum settings in a supportive, smaller hospital environment. The role offers 12-hour day and night shifts with competitive pay up to $48 per hour and biweekly overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including fetal heart rate monitoring and assessments
Assist physicians and providers during deliveries and procedures
Educate patients and families on prenatal, postpartum, and newborn care
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Maintain accurate charting and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
Promote a safe, patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes
Active Texas RN license or compact license
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
BLS certification required
Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
Skills:
NRP or fetal monitoring certification
One year of Labor & Delivery experience
You hold an active Texas RN or compact license. You have BLS certification and strong team communication skills. You possess obstetric experience, fetal monitoring, and patient education abilities
