Member Experience Specialist - Service, Tech & Growth

Position Summary

What You’ll Do:

• Provides member service, maintains checkout area, and responds to member issues and concerns.
• Promotes Sam’s Club products and services and guides members on self‑service technology.
• Processes purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
• Maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, reviews receipts, and safeguards club assets.
• Follows safety standards, conducts safety sweeps, and reports unsafe situations to facility management.
• Handles merchandise procedures, zones areas, arranges and organizes merchandise, and identifies shrink or damage.
• Trains associates on processes, technology tools, and new program roll‑out training.
• Ensures compliance with security, safety, and ethics policies and procedures.
• Completes work assignments, identifies priorities, and communicates progress and improvement opportunities.
• Supports a culture of belonging, inclusion, and integrity; mentors others and takes calculated risks.
• Delivers customer‑first results while balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities.

• Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00 (actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage).
• Additional compensation: premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

• Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
• Experience working with mobile retail applications.
