Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will independently showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.

• Your starting hourly pay rate will be $12.50–$14.50, depending on your skills and experience.
• Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
• Eligible part‑time employees receive voluntary benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.) and annual pay increases.
• This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours are between 7–11 per week.
• Availability before and after major holidays—weekends may be required—is necessary.
• Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required.

• Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores (grocery, drug, department, mass retailers).
• Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor inventory using a Hallmark‑provided mobile device; communicate with supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys.
• Holiday support: manage additional days and extended hours during holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas; occasional work on the holiday itself may be required.
• Department resets: assist with installations, building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections; assignments are typically scheduled two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
• Team support: collaborate with other merchandisers in the field organization as needed in your territory.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds during the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day and may need to climb stairs and step‑ladders.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate a digital handheld device.
• Reliable Wi‑Fi and internet access.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
