USPS 1099 Mail Deliver Driver (Part‑time, On‑call)
Operate in San Angelo, TX using your own vehicle to deliver letters and packages as a USPS subcontractor on a 1099 part‑time basis.
Responsibilities- Deliver letters and packages to assigned route.
- Sort and deliver mail using your own personal vehicle.
- Maintain, insure, and fuel your vehicle.
- Vehicle must have at least 120 cubic feet of cargo space (Van, SUV, or small cargo van).
- Provide on‑call service when the full‑time driver is unavailable.
- Experience as a courier, gig worker, or independent contractor.
- Willingness to work 6:30 a.m.–4:20 p.m.; days vary.
- Availability for on‑call work with potential for increased hours later in the year.
Rate of pay: $155 per day; $100 possible bonus for suitable vehicle.
