Maine Oxy is immediately hiring for a Class A Driver with a Hazmat Endorsement based in Baytown, TX.

Salary: $27.00 – $29.00 per hour plus overtime options

Sign‑On Bonus: $2,500 paid in structured installments
Safety Bonus:
Up to $2,000 annually for safe driving performance

• Not a home‑daily position
• Overnight travel required: 3–4 nights per week
• Depart Baytown, TX Monday morning; over‑the‑road Monday–Friday; return to Baytown on Friday

• Territories in TX, LA and OK
• Territories divided into 4 zones; one zone per week; same general area all week
• Flexible schedule

• Safely deliver helium cylinders to established customers
• Load/unload cylinders and return empties to the fill plant
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain DOT compliance
• Build relationships with repeat customers and help manage their inventory needs

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year driving experience or driving school training in the past 4 years
• CDL A License with Haz Mat endorsement

• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public
• Understand highway traffic signs and signals in English; respond to official inquiries, make entries on reports and records
• Regularly required to see, speak, and hear
• Drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending required
• Frequent sitting and standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; may stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
• Perform heavy work; routinely lift 25–75 pounds and occasionally lift 76–>100 pounds
• Work outdoors in temperatures ranging from –10 to over 100 degrees
• Ability to smell/hear leaking gas from cylinders
