HCAI Superintendent

Summary

A well-established general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial and healthcare construction projects throughout the Bay Area. This role is responsible for driving daily jobsite execution, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is an organized field leader with experience managing occupied renovations or complex commercial projects and is comfortable using Procore to keep projects running efficiently.

• Lead day-to-day field operations from project startup through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries
• Maintain project schedules and drive production to meet milestones
• Conduct daily site walks and enforce safety and quality standards
• Partner with Project Managers and Project Engineers to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum
• Manage RFIs, change events, daily reports, progress photos, punch lists, and other project documentation within Procore
• Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work complies with project plans, specifications, and company standards
• Maintain organized, safe, and productive jobsite operations while fostering strong relationships with clients and trade partners

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
• Healthcare, medical, or occupied renovation experience is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor management
• Experience using Procore and managing field documentation
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Valid driver’s license
