Job Duties and Responsibilities-Provide school based counseling for individuals and groups;
-Collaborate with staff and families to support student wellness;
-Participate in weekly site intervention team meetings;
-Assess and monitor students' social-emotional wellbeing;
-Deliver classroom-based lessons on different SEL topics;
-Collaborate with District MTSS Wellness Coordinator in implementing trauma-informed practices.
The position is split between Hidden Valley and Wade Thomas Elementary Schools. The Ross Valley School District serves the K-8 educational needs of children at five school sites nestled among the beautiful wooded hills of Marin County California, about 30 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge.
