Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this Contract to permanent position, you will manage the full spectrum of accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with legal standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in bookkeeping functions and proficiency with accounting software, including Quick Books Online.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank deposits.

- Process payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and generating payroll tax reports.

- Prepare comprehensive financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

- Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and credit card transactions.

- Manage journal entries and ensure timely month-end closings.

- Maintain accurate financial records to support audits and collaborate effectively with external accountants.

- Generate management reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.

- Utilize accounting software, such as Quick Books Online, to manage bookkeeping tasks efficiently. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping.

- Proficiency in Quick Books Online and other accounting software.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VBA, and VLOOKUP.

- Familiarity with certified payroll and fixed asset accounting principles.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.

- Solid understanding of financial compliance and reporting standards.
