As a Construction Accountant
, you will manage financial activities specific to construction projects, ensuring accurate cost tracking, budgeting and reporting to support project profitability and compliance.
- Track and record project costs, budgets, and change orders
- Prepare draw requests, progress billings, and job cost reports
- Reconcile accounts and ensure timely payment of subcontractors and vendors
- Monitor project budgets and provide financial analysis to project managers
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, accounting standards, and tax regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Knowledge of job costing, AIA billing, and construction contracts
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Procore, Yardi & Textura)
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
