Our client is adding a Staff Accountant to their growing Property Development team, someone who wants a seat at the table and visibility into the full lifecycle of development projects, from pre-development through closeout.

This role is ideal for an accountant who loves connecting the dots, partnering cross-functionally, and turning complex financial data into insights that actually drive decisions.

• Full ownership of project-level accounting and general ledger activity
• Monthly project financials—telling the story behind the numbers through variance and trend analysis
• Budget vs. actual analysis with clear, confident explanations of cost and timing changes
• Close partnership with development and operations teams to support active projects
• Month-end close responsibilities, including accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Tracking project costs, commitments, and funding sources to stay aligned with budgets and financing
• Construction draws, pay applications, and lender reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• 3–4 years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills and comfort building financial schedules from the ground up
• Real estate or construction accounting experience is a plus
